3 men hospitalised after early morning crash [1]

Three men remain hospitalized after their vehicle crashed into the fence at the Captain Cook's Landing site in 'Alaki, early this morning.
Tonga Police reported that the accident happened around 5:00am when the male driver (25) and two male passengers both 18 were heading west on Taufa'ahau Road. It is alleged that the driver swerved and hit a power pole on the side of the road, then swerved again and hit the fence at the Captain Cook's Landing Site.
The driver will be charged with drunk driving and reckless driving causing harm.
All three men from Haveluloto are reported to be in a stable condition at Vaiola Hospital.
