Medical team from Guangdong helps out at Vaiola Hospital [1]

Visiting medical experts from Guangdong, China have been working together with Tongan doctors to provide medical service to the locals in Vaiola Hospital from 15-17 August.

The delegation consists of officials from Guangdong Health and Family Planning Commission and 9 doctors from various departments, including cardiologists, dentists, endocrinologist, and an acupuncturist.

Tonga's Ministry of Health officers discussed about future cooperation between two sides regarding personnel training and capacity building.

In a statement the Embassy of China in Tonga said the delegation was jointly organized by Guangdong Foreign Affairs Office and Guangdong Health and Family Planning Commission.
