Five new Tonga Tourism Authority board members were approved by Cabinet yesterday, 27 July.

The board is headed by Sosaia Moehau as chairman, with members from tourism related businesses: Ken Walker (Air New Zealand), Lavili Maka (Fiji Airways), Starfort ‘Aho (Rising Sun Tours and Travel), and Tevita Palu (Palu Aviation).

The Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism, Sione Moala-Mafi said that the formal endorsement by the members of their selection had yet to take place but these were the new Tourism Authority Board members approved by Cabinet to be board members for the next three years.
