Tonga Agricultural shows for happy healthy Tongans start July 27 [1]

Tonga's Royal Agricultural, Fisheries and Tonga Made Show 2016 will be held on July 27 to August 13 in six islands.

HM King Tupou VI will open the shows, starting in Niuatoputapu on 27 July and Niuafo’ou on 28 July.

This is followed by Vava'u on 30 July, Ha’apai on 3 August, ‘Eua on 6 August, and a two-day event in Tongatapu from August 12-13.

The annual Royal Shows organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, Forests and Fisheries aim to encourage the development and sustainability of the agricultural, fisheries and industrial sectors will be held under a theme, ‘Food Security for happy and healthy Tongans.’ The Ministry for Commerce, Consumer, Trade, Innovation and Labour (MCCTIL) co-host the show with MAFFF
