Man (54) in custody for indecent assault [1]

A 54-year-old man has been charged with indecently assaulting a 12-year-old girl in Kolonga, Tongatapu. He is expected to appear at the Magistrate’s Court in Mu’a on Wednesday, 13 July.

Tonga Police said today said the indecent assault offence is alleged to have occurred last week at the village.  

"The accused remains in police custody."
