Artist Sitiveni Fehoko missionary in Papua New Guinea [1]

An accomplished Tongan carver and artist, Sitiveni Fehoko (56) will serve as the new Mission President for the LDS Church Lae Mission, Papua New Guinea, starting in July this year, accompanied by his wife Kilisitina
Eight new mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency to start their service in July, reported Deseret News on 12 May.
Brother Fehoko of Va’epopua 1st Ward in Nuku’alofa Tonga Stake is a former mission presidency counselor, stake president, bishop, branch president and regional welfare agent.
Kilisitina is a former stake and ward Primary president and stake and ward relief society president.
An artist and also owner of the Fehoko Art family business in Nuku'alofa, Fehoko from Ha’ano, Ha’apai told Matangi Tonga today that this is the first time he is called to work outside of Tonga.
"This has been a life long dream for me to receive a call to do the Lord's work. We are blessed and very happy to leave our crazy life schedule and love of art. We love to spend our time teaching the people of Papua New Guinea about God.”
The couple has seven children.
