State opening for 2016 Parliament set for June 2 [1]

The 2016 Session of the Legislative Assembly of Tonga will have a state opening on Thursday, June 2 at Parliament House.

The Clerk of the House, Gloria-Guttenbeil Pole'o said HM King Tupou VI would officiate the state opening.

The last parliamentary session was closed in a short ceremony on February 25 this year.
