Murder accused to appear in court May 25 [1]

A 31-year-old man, facing a murder charge in the death of his older brother, is to appear at the Nuku’alofa Magistrate’s Court on 25 May.

The accused, who remains in police custody, was charged with the murder of his brother (34) during an alleged fight at a home in Mataika, Tongatapu, on Tuesday, 26 April.

The alleged fight had taken place at around 11:00pm at the home. The victim is reported to have died on the way to hospital.
