A 31-year-old man was charged today with murder in relation to the death of his elder brother during an alleged fight at a home in Mataika, Tongatapu, last night Tuesday, 26 April.

Chief Superintendent Tevita Fifita confirmed the deceased aged 34 was reported to have died while being rushed to Vaiola Hospita by family members.

The alleged fight between the brothers took place at around 11:00pm at the home. The police were called to the scene by the family.

"We arrested the accused immediately after the fight. He remains in police custody to appear in the lower court," said Fifita.
