Tourism in Vava'u is reviving with the Vava’u Tourism Association holding its AGM on 29 February and electing new officers.
Tourism Authority Chairman Tomifa Paea said today the association was revived after three-years, at the meeting held at the Governor's Office in Neiafu.
"It was good turnout with all tourism operators attending. I was happy to see the enthusiasm from the operators wanting to do something to help build tourism in Vava’u, and Fiji Airways new international flight route from Nadi opens up Vava’u to the rest of the world," he said.
