Cruiseship will come to Tonga instead of Fiji [1]

Tonga will receive an additional cruise ship visit to Neiafu and Nuku'alofa  this month after the Pacific Pearl cancelled two Fiji ports on its February voyage.

Sandy Tu'ipulotu of the Tonga government's Tourism Division, said today that it had been confirmed from the Shipping Agent that the Pacific Pearl had cancelled its visit to the Fiji ports of Denarau and Dravuni due to the damage done by the Cyclone Winston over the weekend.

"Therefore it's replaced with Neiafu (26 February) and Nuku’alofa (27 February)," she stated.
