Uatesoni Molia and Leah Tuimavave receive $5000 from Maliana Sevele.

 

It is a very Happy New Year for newly-weds Uatesoni Molia and Leah Tuimavave who start their married life today with a $5,000 cash prize blessing.

Nuku'alofa supermarket, Molisi Tonga, drew Uatesoni's name as the major prizewinner in their end of year draw on Saturday, and Uatesoni was surprised to receive a telephone call from the Molisi Tonga staff, telling him that his name was on the lucky ticket.

The shy Lavengatonga man is a theology student at the Sia'atoutai College on Tongatapu, and today, January 2, marries Leah, a Samoan woman.

The couple came into Nuku'alofa after the draw on Saturday to collect their $5,000 prize, which was presented by General Manager of Molisi Tonga, Maliana Sevele.

Leah said they had some shopping to do and they would also like to donate some money to Sia'atoutai.
