Star Lotulelei to play in Super Bowl [1]

Tongan-born American football player, Star Lotulelei will play in his first Super Bowl as the Carolina Panthers #98 right defensive tackle on 7 February 2016 against the Denver Broncos at Levi Stadium, Santa Clara,California.

He played college football for the University of Utah before he was included in the first round of the NFL in 2013 where he was selected by the Panthers and has since helped turn them into one of the best defensive teams in the league.

The humble and quietly spoken, 26 year old, was born in Nuku’alofa, Tonga and moved to the US when he was 9 years old.

Star's large family will all be at the Super Bowl to cheer him on. He has seven sisters and one brother all residing in the US. His father, Star is from Niua and his mum, Pesatina is from Vava’u, Tonga.

Star is married to Fuiva and they have three children, two girls and a boy.

His younger brother Lowell Lotulelei is following in his footsteps and currently plays college football for the University of Utah.
