The new clubhouse for TIGFA at Faua Wharf, Ma‘ufanga. 17 May 2000

Neil Dalgety, the president of the Tonga International Game Fishing Association, and other members of TIGFA were celebrating the opening of their new Clubhouse on the evening of May 17, at the Faua breakwater.

Neil said that the $12,000 clubhouse was a dream come true for TIGFA, which had been working on the idea for a clubhouse during the past six years. The clubroom will have a VHF radio, and a weighing station will also be built. A later addition will be a floating wharf.
