To mark the inaugural flight of Air Fiji from Tonga to Nausori, Fiji on November 16, Sione Moala, the new Deputy Director of Tourism and the head of the Marketing Division of the Tonga Visitors Bureau, presented Michael Ah Koy and his wife a piece of Tongan ngatu at Nausori. Michael Ah Koy is the Deputy Chairman of Air Fiji.

The airline is a newcomer in the regional air service linking Nuku‘alofa and Suva and planning to fly between Nadi and Vava‘u.
