Inquest confirms drowning [1]

An inquest has confirmed that Haini Muller (24) died from drowning at Hufangalupe Beach in Vaini on 26 November.

Acting Superintendent ‘Atunaisa Taumoepeau said today the inquest held on Friday, 4 December also ruled out any suspicious circumstances in relation to the victim's death.

Haini was reported to have fallen off Hufangalupe cliff early that morning. A police search and rescue team was dispatched to the area after the incident was reported.
