Visitors offer traditional Chinese medicine [1]

Traditional Chinese medicine was offered for two days, from November 26-27, at Vaiola Hospital by three visiting doctors from Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China.
Dr Wu Shan (medicinal therapy of massage), Dr Zhao Shuai (orthopedics) and Dr Meng Shangrong (acupuncture) who are in Nuku'alofa with a Guangdong Friendship, Healthcare and Arts Delegation, and provided their services freely to local Chinese residents and some staff at the hospital's physiotherapy department.
Lucia Chan, Vice-Section Chief of Guangdong People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, said the aim of their trip is to promote and exchange cooperation in traditional Chinese healthcare and arts.
The group will finish on Friday afternoon at 4:00pm befor leaving Tonga on Saturday, 28 November for Micronesia.
Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a big state owned hospital which has become a modern general hospital of Chinese medicine.
The delegation consists of 28 people, including the doctors, and 22 arts troupe performers, acrobats and administration staff,
Lucia said the arts troupe will perform at selected secondary schools in Nuku'alofa during their visit.
