Veikune said that the House would hold its last Parliamentary debate session tomorrow, October 26, before it concludes for the year.

"The timing on when Parliament opens and closes is wholly up to His Majesty," said Veikune.

In regards to the House‘s working agenda, Veikune said they had two pieces of legislation as well as a few Government Annual Reports they were still working on but he was optimistic that they would be able to complete most of it before parliament closes on Thursday.

The closing ceremony will be held at 10:30 am at the Queen Salote Memorial Hall and Primary school students throughout Tongatapu will mark the day by marching in Nuku‘’alofa.

The six month long Parliamentary session closes every year either at the end of October or early in November.
