The Rotary Club of Nuku'alofa will hold its annual Children's Fun Fair and Float Parade on Saturday 29 October 2005, in central Nuku'alofa.

From 10 a.m. a variety of activities will be organized for families at the Fa'onelua Garden Park next to the Tonga Visitors Bureau.

The Rotary treasurer, Frank Schaper, said that this year a big parade with a marching band headed by the Police and the Fire Department of Tonga will go through the central business district starting at 10 a.m. from the Queen Salote Memorial Hall. "We invite all children to join the float parade and will it lead them to the Fa'onelua playground," he said.

Children may win prizes in the "Fancy Dress Contest", which starts at 11.00 am.

The Rotary Fun Fair will be raising money for the construction of new playground equipment at Fa'onelua Park, in addition to the $12,000 equipment installed there by the Club in 2004.
