Niuatoputapu Agricultural Show opens August 5 [1]

King Tupou VI and Queen Nanasipau'u will open the first of six Royal Agricultural, Fisheries and Industrial Shows, starting tomorrow, Wednesday, 5 August at Matangimalie Grounds in Niuatoputapu.

The annual event held on six islands will continue to Niuafo’ou, Vava’u, Ha’apai, ‘Eua and Tongatapu where local food crops, export crops, fish, seafood, handicrafts and locally manufactured goods and services will be displayed. The schedule for  the shows is:

  • Niuafo’ou - 6 August
  • Vava’u - 8 August
  • Ha’apai - 12 August
  • ‘Eua - 15 August
  • Tongatapu - 21-22 August
