This year’s session of the Legislative Assembly of Tonga will resume on Monday, 10 August in Nuku’alofa.

The last sitting of the House was on Tuesday, 23 June before it was adjourned until further notice.

During the adjournment, members of parliament went on their annual parliamentary visits which are continuing.

The annual parliamentary visits are a chance for the MPs to learn more about the needs and wants of their electorates while also visiting Government Ministries.
