Victim named in CBD stabbing [1]

Sioeli ‘Aholelei Finau (24), a soldier with His Majesty’s Armed Forces, has been named as the victim who died after he was allegedly stabbed with a knife in the Central Business District on Saturday night, 11 July.
Police in releasing the victim's name today said he was stabbed on the chest during an alleged brawl around midnight near E.M. Jones Ltd. store. He is from Pelehake in Tongatapu.
Meanwhile, the 25-year-old accused from Kolofo’ou who has been charged with murder was arrested, with the knife allegedly used in the crime.
He remains in custody to appear at the Nuku'alofa Magistrate's Court on 21 July.
Police said the investigation is continuing.
