HE Sarah Maree Wong Walsh has started as New Zealand's new High Commissioner to Tonga after arriving on Saturday, 13 June.

She presented her Letter of Credence to HM King Tupou VI on Wednesday, 17 June at the Royal Palace.

The High Commissioner comes to Tonga after having served in the Solomon Islands, Kosovo, Timor-Leste and Uganda.

She replaces former NZ High Commissioner HE Mark Talbot who completed his term in May this year.
