Festive Kolofo'ou prepares for Coronation [1]

It was a festive day for the people in Kolofo'ou who decorated their homes with mats, Tongan flags and balloons in preparation for HM King Tupou VI's Coronation.
As part of a clean up campaign throughout Tongatapu, people have been cleaning their homes and gardens for a visit by Princess Latufuipeka Tuku'aho on Wednesday, 17 June.
Roads were adorned with tapa, children dressed in tapa and fine mats laid out on the side of the road to welcome the Princess. Some businesses in the Central Business District also joined the festive day and decorated their premises with balloons and flags.
The clean up campaign has been ongoing throughout Tongatapu to prepare for the Coronation celebrations which run from Saturday, 27 June to Tuesday, 7 July.
The King's Coronation service will be held on Saturday, 4 July at the Centenary Church in Nuku'alofa.
