Tonga loses thriller 18-16 [1]

The Toa Samoa 18-16 defeated Tonga’s Mate Ma’a Tonga in a thrilling match in the 2015 Pacific Test on May 2 in the Gold Coast, Australia.

Samoa took home the victory with four tries and goal a including a dramatic finish by Dominique Peyroux who scored with 10 minutes left to play in the game, securing its victory.

Samoa, Tries: Josh McGuire, Daniel Vidot, Frank Pritchard (captain), and Dominique Peyroux. Goals: Tim Simona (¼).

Tonga, Tries: Jorge Taufua (2), Sika Manu. (captain) Goals: Solomone Kata (2/3).

More than 12,000 people at the Cbus Super Stadium watched the match.
