PM goes on medical leave [1]

The Prime Minister Hon ‘Akilisi Pohiva is currently in New Zealand on a five-day leave for family matters that will include getting a routine medical check up.

He left for Auckland on Friday, 17 April with his wife Neomai. The Prime Minister is expected to resume duty on Wednesday, 22 April.

“While on a five-day leave, the Hon Prime Minister will also undergo routine medical check-ups”, said the Prime Minister’s office in Nuku'alofa today.
