Solomon Contingent returns to Tonga [1]

Tonga's second military contingent for the Solomon Islands returned home on July 27, after completing their six-months tenure of peace keeping duty.
Navy Commander Satisi Vunipola from the Tonga Defence Services headquarters in Nuku'alofa said that the 40 members contingent returned without their commander, Major Kuli Fakalolo, who was ill with a fever. Satisi said it was "fortunately not Malaria" and Major Fakalolo was expected back in Tonga this week.
A new schedule for the Regional Assistance Mission to the Solomon Islands (RAMSI) requirres three-months duty in the Solomons on rotation. He said that Tonga turn will in June or July next year, when a third 40 members Tongan contingent will be sent to the Solomon Islands.
