Two Tongans in Super Bowl XLIX [1]

Two gridiron players of Tongan heritage will feature in next week’s Super Bowl showdown between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots on Sunday February 1 in Glendale, Arizona.

Will Tukuafu (31) and Tony Moeaki (27) are both enlisted by the Seattle Seahawks. Both are offensive players, Tukuafu plays Full Back and Moeaki plays Tight End.

The Super Bowl will see some Pacific rivalry. The New England Patriots roster enlists a Samoan (Sealver Siliga) and a Native Hawaiian (Michael Hoomanawanui).
