April court hearing for bank liquidation application [1]

The hearing of an application to appoint a liquidator for the liquidation of the Pacific International Commercial Bank will be held on 24 April at the Nuku'alofa Supreme Court.
Nuku’alofa Investment Ltd., a creditor of the bank, filed the application to the Supreme Court to appoint a liquidator for the liquidation late last year.
The Hon Chief Justice Paulsen who presided over the case on January 30, set the hearing for April 24. Counsel representing the bank was Clive Edwards with Ralph Stephenson for the Nuku'alofa Investment Ltd.
The bank is a Chinese-Tongan venture opened in Nuku’alofa in April last year.
