Noble's sentencing adjourned to February 5 [1]

The sentencing of Lord Tu’ilakepa on firearm and ammunition charges was adjourned today to Thursday February 5, at the Nuku’alofa Supreme Court.
Mr Justice Cato this afternoon adjourned the sentence to get a probation report on the accused. The report is also ordered to provide clarification on appropriate community work and conditions of work with supervision before delivering his sentence.
The noble had pleaded guilty to six counts, including four for possession of firearms without a license and two for possession of ammunition without a license on December 9, 2014.
Lord Tu’ilakepa who is a current Vava'u Noble's Representative to Parliament and former Speaker of Parliament was present in court and represented by Willam Clive Edwards Snr.
The Crown Prosecutor was the Director of Public Prosecutions ‘Aminiasi Kefu.
The noble was first charged in December 2010.
