Huge cuts in fuel follow falling oil prices [1]

Huge cuts in fuel prices have been announced for the next month effective from Friday January 16th. The Ministry of Commerce, Tourism & Labour made the announcements today January 14th.

The cuts in retail prices included a 27.52 Seniti cut in the price of Kerosene, a 26.89 Seniti cut in the price of Petrol and a 23.86 Seniti cut in the price of Diesel. The cuts follow falling oil prices across the world.

Current retail prices today January 14                      Prices effective from January 16                             

Kerosene: $2.07 Seniti per Litre                                      Kerosene: $1.80 Seniti per Litre 

Diesel: $2.60 Seniti per Litre                                          Diesel: $2.36 Seniti per Litre           

Petrol: $2.53 Seniti per Litre                                           Petrol: $2.26 Seniti per Litre
