Large cuts in fuel prices [1]

Fuel prices have been significantly lowered for the month starting today December 16, 2014. The cuts follow significant reductions made last month.  

The new prices for Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene were announced yesterday by the Ministry of Commerce, Tourism and Labour.

The retail price of Petrol decreased from by -13.79 seniti per liter from $2.66 to a new price of $2.53 seniti per liter.

The retail price of Diesel was lowered by -7.78 seniti from $2.68 per liter to a new price of $2.60 seniti per liter.

Kerosene will decrease by -6.35 seniti per liter from $2.14 to a new price of $2.07 seniti per liter.

The reductions follow a global decline in fuel prices this year in the wake of an international agreement by oil exporting countries to keep oil production at a current level.
