Tonga Power states net profit of $4,992,500 [1]

Tonga Power Ltd has stated its operational net profit at $4,992,500 Pa’anga (after tax). The figure is a significant rise from last year’s net profit of $2,938,659.

Tonga Power also announced it paid a total dividend of $1,359,314 Pa’anga to its largest shareholder, the Tongan Governmen on November 25.

Tonga Power Ltd's Chairman of the Board, Carl Sanft, presented a cheque of $1,359,314 Pa’anga to Minister for Public Enterprises, Hon Fe’aomoeata Vakata.

Carl said that this year has been the most profitable year for Tonga Power Ltd.
