Pacific Is leaders gather in Fiji [1]

Pacific leaders are gathering in Fiji this week to meet two visiting world leaders.
The Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi is expected to arrive in Fiji tomorrow, November 19 and the Chinese President Xi Jinping on November 20.
Prime Minister Modi is in the region following an official visit to Australia from 16-18 November 2014, after the G-20 Leaders Summit. Tomorrow a full iTaukei traditional welcome ceremony will be held at Albert Park, Suva in his honour.
Tonga's Prime Minister Lord Tu'ivakano arrived in Suva, Fiji on Monday night, November 17 to attend a Suva Summit, to be hosted by the Fiji government to mark the first visit to Fiji of Prime Minister Modi.
Lord Tu'ivakano is accompanied by the Acting Chief Secretary, 'Aholotu Palu and Va'inga Tone, the Secretary for the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.

Following the Suva Summit, Lord Tu'ivakano and his delegation will travel to Nadi, where they will be joined by Tonga's Minister of Finance, Hon. 'Aiske Eke; the Minister of Internal Affairs, Hon. Vaea and the Minister of Land, Lord Ma'afu.
The Tongan delegation will be among seven other Pacific Islands delegations in Nadi to meet the Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday.
A spokesperson from the Chinese Embassy said that the eight Pacific Island nations who would have a Prime Minister in Nadi to welcome President Xi Jingping are Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, Cook Islands, Vanuatu, Federated States of Micronesia, Niue and Papua New Guinea.
