Teenager charged with murder at Ha‘asini [1]

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with murder in relation to the death of a 19-year-old boy who sustained severe injuries allegedly consistent with stabbing during an argument in Ha'asini last night, October 20.

The Police Commissioner Grant O’Fee said the dispute took place just after 9:00pm which resulted in the victim being injured.

He was rushed to Vaiola Hospital but died before reaching there.

The accused from Ha‘asini who remains in custody was expected to appear at the Nuku‘alofa Magistrate‘s Court today.
