Prime Minister addresses UN meeting in Thailand [1]

Prime Minister Tu’ivakano is currently in Thailand attending the 70th annual policy session of the United Nations Economic & Social Commission for Asia & the Pacific (ESCAP).
Tu’ivakano was one of four heads of states privileged with addressing the opening of the ministerial segment of the session. The theme of the 70th session is “Regional connectivity for shared prosperity”.
The three day meeting which began August 4 is focused on regional connectivity and is being attended by senior government officials from over 40 member countries.
