A man has been charged with stabbing his 22-year-old wife on Friday night, 18 July in Kolofo’ou.

Police stated today that Tu’ineau Skeen from Fasi has been charged with bodily harm for stabbing 'Amelia Lupe Skeen on the back of the neck with a knife.

The incident is alleged to have taken place around 9:00pm at a home in Kolofo'ou.

The victim who sustained injuries is currently in good condition and has been released from Vaiola Hospital.

The accused appeared at the Nuku'alofa Magistrate's Court on Monday, 21 July.
