The Tonga Competent Authority has approved new petroleum prices for July – August effective yesterday July 16.

The prices of petrol and kerosene have increased, whilst the price of diesel has decreased.

The retail price for petrol was raised by 3.45 seniti per litre to a new price of $2.91 per litre.

The retail price for kerosene was raised by 1.63 seniti per litre to a new price of $2.29 per litre, while the retail price for diesel was lowered by 1.63 seniti per litre to a new price of $2.90 per litre.
