Nobles to close 2013 parliamentary session [1]

The 2013 Session of the Legislative Assembly of Tonga will be closed by three nobles on Thursday, April 3 after sitting this week in Nuku'alofa.

Lord Luani, Lord Tu’iha’angana and Lord Kalaniuvalu Fotofoli will carry out the soft closing ceremony at 10:00am in Parliament House. One of the nobles will deliver the closing address from the king.

The session resumed on Monday, March 31 after it was adjourned from October 24, 2013.

The 2014 Session will open in June to discuss the National Budget for the new Financial Year 2014/15.
