TCC to upgrade computer billing system [1]

After months of preparation and pre-planning, TCC is now geared to implement the complete end-to-end AvaBill Software Suite. Once implemented, this solution is said to provide a totally automated service to their fixed line, mobile & ISP operations whereby the subscriber base can enjoy greater flexibility, functionality and of course a smooth & hassle free service.
Since early September both teams from TCC and AvaBill have been engaged in the Provisional Acceptance Testing in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Both teams are now confident to go ahead with the implementation of this Solution. As part of this upgrade, the following benefits are some of the value additions TCC customers will be able to enjoy in the days to come.
- Uninterrupted service and support for Wire Line (PSTN), Mobile (GSM), Fixed GSM & Data/IP operations
- Interconnected Front Office and Back office functionalities that will amalgamate all the sales and business outlets. Thereby all TCC customers will be able to enjoy services such as Customer Care, Service Requests, Web Self Care, Complaints Handling, Faster Connection Activations and Bill Payments from their nearest business outlet.
- Automated Credit Management and Follow up on Over-dues will be another benefit offered to customers as a result of implementing the AvaBill Software Suite.
Furthermore AvaBill's reputation in the Pacific Telco Community as an excellent provider of end-to-end Software Solutions coupled with the skills of its people in providing implementation, training & hands on support services; were the two key reasons identified by TCC in making the decision in favor of AvaBill. It is also expected that AvaBill...s adaptability and versatility will complement the current systems and processes at TCC.
