Warm welcome home for Miss South Pacific [1]

Tonga's Miss South Pacific, Tessi Leila Toluta'u, was the guest of honour at a welcome home reception, hosted by the Ministry of Tourism and the Tonga Visitor's Bureau on the evening of November 23.

The Minister of Tourism Hon. Fineasi Funaki presented Tessi with a Certificate of Appreciation for winning the Miss South Pacific 2007 crown in Samoa this month.

Guests watched a video of Tessi's appearances at the pageant where she won a clean sweep of all the judging categories of the Miss South Pacific. Tessi, who is a university student and a cultural dancer in Hawai'i, made a presentation performance of South Pacific dance during the reception held at the Dupincia Lodge at Ma'ufanga, Nuku'alofa.
