1. Chief Economist,

Band H: $36,338-54,508

  • Master’s Degree with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role OR at least 4 years relevant working experience
  • Post Graduate Diploma with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role or at least 5 years relevant working experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role or at least 8 years relevant working experience
 Qualifications acceptable for this role must be in Commerce, Economics, or Business from a recognised educational institution.

2. Chief Economist,
Budget Division

Band H: $36,338-54,508

  • Master’s Degree with at least 2 years of work experience in a similar role OR at least 4 years of relevant working experience
  • Post Graduate Diploma with at least 3 years of work experience in a similar role or at least 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of work experience in a similar role or at least 8 years of relevant working experience
Qualifications acceptable for this role must be in Commerce, Economics, or Business from a recognised educational institution.

Qualifications acceptable for this role must be in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Management, Industrial Relations, Economics, Accounting, Commerce, Public Policy Arts, Employment Relations, Information Technology, Statistics, Training or Law from a recognized educational institution.

Rate: $34.82

  • Form 5 TSC or the equivalent of Certificate Level 1
*Exceptions: Cleaners, Caretakers, Groundskeepers, Handymen, Watchmen, and Laundry Assistants (basic literacy and numeracy skills will be required in the absence of secondary school).
