![]() FINANCE ASSISTANT TLD021School Of Pacific Arts, Communication and EducationInstitute of EducationThe OpportunityThe University of the South Pacific’s Institute of Education (USP-IoE) seeks to appoint a reliable Finance Assistant to join its diverse team, working in the Pacific region. The appointee will be assisting the Finance Coordinator in verifying, recording, processing and administrating the finances of the Institute. The Finance Assistant will provide efficient assistance to the Institute with effective delivery of financial and administrative support services. The Finance Assistant will operate mainly within the IOE Corporate unit by reporting to the Director and working closely with the Finance Coordinator and Finance Officer (Finance Team) of the Institute. The Finance Assistant is expected to carry out tasks such as, and not limited to the preparing source documentation, liaison with suppliers/vendors, collection of quotes, facilitating petty cash expenses, processing of payment requests and recording fixed assets and attractive items. The Finance Assistant will also be expected to support the financial and administration requests from the Institute’s three programmes across its three offices in Tonga, Solomon Is and Fiji (Professional & Development Unit, Research & Development Unit and the Waka Unit).
