Chief Geologist

This serves to invite interested candidates from within and outside the Public Service to apply for the following vacancy currently available at the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources.

$30,240 - $45,360
  • Master’s Degree with at least 1 year experience in a similar role OR at least 3 years relevant working experience
  • Post Graduate Diploma with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role or at least 4 years relevant working experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years’ experience in a similar role or at least 6 years relevant working experience

Qualifications acceptable for this role must be in Geospatial Science, Environmental Science, Geography, Mathematics, Information Technology, Physics, Property Valuation, Science, Economics, Land Management, Law, Drafting, Surveying, Geology, Earth Science, or Arts from a recognised educational institution.

All interested applicants are required to submit their applications with updated CV, Certified copies of academic transcripts with at least two (2) reference letters and to be addressed to the; Chief Executive Officer, Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources, Government of the Kingdom of Tonga, Nuku’alofa to be received no later than 4:30pm, 26 May 2022.
