The Ministry of Finance is seeking to engage suitably qualified and experienced applicants for the following vacant positions:

Minimum Requirements

1. Principal Procurement Officer (x2), Procurement Division (Band I)

($30,240 - $45,360)

  • Master’s Degree with at least 1 year experience in a similar role OR at least 3 years relevant working experience
  • Post Graduate Diploma with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role or at least 4 years relevant working experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years’ experience in a similar role or at least 6 years relevant working experience

Qualifications acceptable for this role must be in Business Commerce or Procurement from a recognised educational institution.

2. Senior Auditor, Internal Audit Division (Band J)

($26,880 - $40,360)

  • Master’s Degree with no working experience
  • Post Graduate Diploma with at least 1 year experience in a similar role or at least 3 years relevant working experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role or at least 4 years relevant working experience

Qualifications acceptable for this role must be in Accounting, Professional Accounting or Auditing from a recognised educational institution.

3. Principal Accounting Officer, Checking Section, Treasury Division (Band K)

($23,520 - $35,280)

  • Postgraduate qualification (TNQAB framework Level 8 & up) + up to 1 year of relevant experience
  • Relevant degree + 1 year in a similar role, or 3 years’ relevant work experience
  • Relevant diploma + 3 years in a similar role, or 8 years’ relevant work experience

Current TPS employee with 5 years’ experience in a similar role (meeting other core competency and experience requirements specified in the job description + PMS scores of 3 or above for the past 2 consecutive years)

4. Accountant, Checking Section, Treasury Division (Band L)

($19,490 - $29,230)

  • Bachelor’s degree with no working experience
  • Diploma Certificate with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role or at least 3 years relevant working experience

Qualifications acceptable for this role must be in Accounting, Professional Accounting or Finance, Business or Commerce with emphasis in Accounting from a recognised educational institution.

5. Accounting Officer, Payroll Section, Treasury Division (Band M)

($15,120 - $22,680)

  • Relevant Diploma Level (5/6) TNQAB framework + up to 3 years’ relevant work experience
  • Relevant certificate level 4/trade/technical qualification + 3 years’ relevant work experience
  • Current TPS employee with 5 years’ experience in a similar role (meeting other core competency and experience requirements specified in the job description + PMS scores of 3 or above for the past 2 consecutive years)

6. Accounting Officer, Checking Section, Treasury Division (Band M)

($15,120 - $22,680)

  • Relevant Diploma Level (5/6) TNQAB framework + up to 3 years’ relevant work experience
  • Relevant certificate level 4/trade/technical qualification + 3 years’ relevant work experience
  • Current TPS employee with 5 years’ experience in a similar role (meeting other core competency and experience requirements specified in the job description + PMS scores of 3 or above for the past 2 consecutive years)
