Purpose of the Position: This role is responsible for promoting the company’s corporate objectives by implementing various marketing communication initiatives and providing a marketing / communication service to all Port stakeholders. This role also is responsible for all secretarial work and personal assistance to CEO

Job Duties:

  • Research and analyses market trends, demographics and other information that affects marketing strategies. 
  • Adheres to and implements all company policies and procedures. 
  • Plan, develop and deliver campaigns as agreed within timescales. 
  • Creating and developing new innovative ways to communicate the company message to all stakeholders. 
Public Relation/Communication 
  • Be the focal point for all communication and media release, including all recruitment releases and public relations and awareness programs. 
  • Execute the preparation for all press releases and public announcements subject to the approval of MCS
  • Writing and producing presentations and press releases. 
  • Responsible for all articles, status updates/notices for the Authority’s Facebook page and send to IT for updating. 
  • Dealing with enquiries from the public, the press and other related organizations. 
  • Organizing and attending promotional events such as press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours and visits. 
Customer Complaints/Services 
  • To be responsible for investigation, resolution and reporting of all customer related complaints. 
  • Keep records of all complaints, reporting and seeing through to completion and resolution. 
  • To be the first point of contact for all customer related issues. 
  • To provide complaint trends and communicate lessons learnt to MCS so service levels can be improved.
  • Responsible for handling and recording complaints from the Suggestion Boxes.
  • Ensure that all written communication is carried out as per Authority’s procedures.
  • To monitor all potential claims ensuring minimal financial impact to the Authority.
  • To act as an ambassador for assert and behave in a professional and courteous manner at all times. 
Personal Assistant 
  • Ensuring an efficient Diary Management of all inward/outward correspondents to the CEO.
  • Ensure scanning registered and make copies of CEO’s outward correspondences & follow up direction given by the CEO.
  • Make, confirm and follow-up on all the CEO’s daily appointments and meetings.
  • Control in keeping confidential information and ensure that are keep secure.
  • Compile Board Papers (Finance and Non-Finance Committee Meeting and any other Board meetings) and circulate to the respective members and attendees, accurately and on a timely manner. 


  • A Degree in Marketing/Management/Business Administration or any other related discipline 
  • Past experience in PR or marketing 
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Administration 
  • Be computer, Microsoft Office and internet literate 
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills 
  • Excellent skills in report and letter writing 


  • Level 3 of the Ports Authority Salary Scale
