'Ikale Tahi frontrow Elvis Taione will donate to charity to make up for an embarrassing incident last Saturday night. Elvis was caught by a photographer urinating on shop wall in Exeter, England. He has since apologized for the incident and was given a formal warning by his club, the Exeter Chiefs.

The NRL has announced that Mate Ma'a Tonga front-rower Andrew Fifita, who currently plays for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, was issued a breach of notice with five days to respond. The notice comes after months of controversy surrounding Andrew Fifita's public support for a friend currently serving a 10-year jail sentence for manslaughter. Local reports state that Fifita is likely to receive a fine rather than a suspension.

The Tonga Under 20s team have scored a big win over the Cook Islands in their first game of the U20 Oceania Rugby Championship in Suva, Fiji. Tonga U20s dominated the game, scoring eight tries to beat the Cook Islands U20s 50 – 12. The Cook Islanders managed two tries.
