A controversial offer made by the PM Hon. ‘Akilisi Pohiva to return to the British Government their former seafront residence in Nuku‘alofa - in anticipation that Britain will come back to the Pacific Islands when they exit the European Union within 12 months - has caused an uproar in Tonga's Office of the Lord Chamberlain, which is located on the property.

It will broadcast again on April 12 in the UK. Presenter George Alagiah's journey starts in Tonga, one of the furthest-flung stops on the Queen's first Commonwealth tour in 1953.

Leaders of the Tonga Red Cross Society Inc. and the Alonga Centre expressed their sorrow at her passing but remembered the Queen Mother's legacy of love, to help and support the elderly and people living with disabilities throughout Tonga.
