Tonga's Prime Minister acknowledged the strong commitment of Tonga's development partners and donors and said financial assistance is still needed to ensure a prosperous Tonga, on opening the Development Partners Forum 2023, on 28 February. He said Government’s additional financing needs in the medium term are estimated at $84.5 million pa'anga in 2023-24, $88.3m in 2024-25, and $79.5m in 2025-26.
