The young Princesses Halaevalu Mata’aho, Nanasipau’u ‘Eliana and Salote Mafile’o Pilolevu were expected to join Tonga Netball Kidsnet Program today 17 May. The program consists of teaching basic netball skills every Wednesday afternoon and Saturday mornings at the BSP Court. 

Tonga’s national netball team, Tala defeated Samoa 79-53 and advanced into the semi-finals tonight undefeated, during the 2023 PacificAus Sports Netball Series this week, in Australia.

Tonga’s national netball team Tala has taken Tonga Netball to 8th place in the world netball rankings, a historic achievement for the winning team which was previously ranked 9th. The team are expected to visit Tonga on 3-13 December.

"This victory is huge for us as a team and for our country. Tonga Netball are the champions of the Pacific Australia Netball Series after defeating Fiji in the grand final 60-52 on Saturday, March 26 in Sydney, Australia.
